Haryana Rubber Udyog's journey is not the story of overnight success. It is the story of a family business that took one thing seriously — making rubber components exactly to specification — and built everything else around that one discipline over forty years.
The business was established in Haryana under the name Parveen Industries. The initial setup comprised a small factory space, a handful of compression press machines, and a tight focus on supplying molded rubber components to local automotive and industrial buyers. Quality inspection was manual, personal, and uncompromising from day one.
The first major production capacity addition — new press machines and a larger factory footprint. With automotive demand growing across India, the business scaled its compound mixing operation and began developing relationships with OEM buyers in the Haryana-Delhi industrial belt. The range expanded beyond simple molded parts to include rubber-to-metal bonded components.
A turning point: the decision to bring mold fabrication and maintenance in-house. Rather than depending on external toolmakers for mold changes and new cavity development, the company invested in its own machining infrastructure. This gave the team direct control over tooling quality and lead times — a competitive advantage that persists to this day.
As the business matured and its geographic reach expanded, the company rebranded from Parveen Industries to Haryana Rubber Udyog — a name that better reflected both the scale and the regional identity of the manufacturing operation. The transition marked the beginning of a more structured approach to OEM partnerships and quality documentation.
The product range expanded to serve more automotive applications — hoses for cooling and fuel systems, bushings for suspension, gaskets for engine assemblies, and O-rings for hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Supplying directly to automotive OEM programmes required a more formal approach to dimensional traceability, and the QC process was restructured accordingly.
By the 30th year of operation, HRU was manufacturing the full range: hoses, bushings, gaskets, O-rings, bellows, dust caps, and buffers. Each product line had dedicated molds, compound formulations, and quality check protocols. The company's reputation for reliable batch-to-batch consistency was drawing repeat orders from established OEM customers.
The Tool Room was upgraded with CNC machining centers and EDM equipment, enabling tighter mold cavity tolerances and faster new-mold development cycles. CAD/CAM-based mold design was adopted, allowing the team to accept customer drawings in digital format and machine directly from the model — cutting mold development time significantly.
Over four decades after the first press run, Haryana Rubber Udyog continues to manufacture precision rubber components for automotive and industrial OEMs across India. The values that defined Parveen Industries in 1982 — accuracy, reliability, honest commitments — are the same values that define every shipment that leaves our facility today.
